About Me
Building teams that grow with the business
I’ve spent the last two decades building and leading People and Talent functions from the ground up — at early-stage startups finding their footing and at scaling companies navigating rapid growth. My work has always centered around connecting a company's growth strategy to how it hires, leads, and scales, because misalignment there is where most startups stumble. When those foundations are built intentionally, growth doesn’t just happen faster; it happens better.

My approach
Early-stage companies don’t need a full HR department. They need a trusted partner who can move between strategy and execution — someone who knows how to turn founder vision into scalable systems and culture.

I step in as a Fractional Head of People and Talent, joining leadership teams to help align their people strategy to their next stage of growth. That can mean designing a talent roadmap, building performance frameworks, or guiding founders through their first leadership hires.
My approach is grounded in three things:
-
Clarity. Growth creates complexity; clarity creates focus. I help founders define what “great” looks like across hiring, performance, and culture so people know where they’re headed and why.
-
Practicality. I believe in processes that work for the size and stage of the business, not in copy-paste one-size-fits-all playbooks.
-
Trust. People work best when they understand the “why.” I partner closely with founders and teams to ensure transparency, accountability, and communication are built into how the company operates.

What this looks like in practice
I’ve led and advised teams through almost every stage of growth — from 30 to 600+ people, across multiple industries and geographies.
My work typically includes:
-
Scaling People and Talent foundations from seed to growth stage
-
Building compensation and total rewards philosophies that attract and retain top talent
-
Designing and facilitating performance, feedback, and goal-setting frameworks
-
Coaching leaders and managers to lead with clarity, accountability, and empathy
-
Creating recruiting and employer branding strategies that attract high-impact talent
Each engagement is tailored to where the business is and where it’s headed next.

Why I do this
Startups are full of potential. But even the strongest ideas can stumble if people and structure don’t keep pace with ambition. I love helping founders bridge that gap of connecting vision to systems, culture to performance, and people to purpose.

When done well, People strategy doesn’t just support the business; it moves it forward.
